Week in Review February 14

This week in the Dyer house--
Wednesday- Amber had MOPS and Brock went along to church for MOPPETS childcare during the meeting. He always has a fun time while there.

Thursday- we had a Valentine's party at home with daycare friends and one at preschool that afternoon.

Saturday- spent all day in the gym at TJ in Council Bluffs ( It is so nice to have them close to home) for Districts. Glenwood got 4th and qualified 4 for state! Rock on!

Sunday- We hung out at home (Matt was gone for a few hours for practice) played games, took a nap, and had a yummy dinner.

Brock has been having fun this week with his legos. We keep them in his closet so when he asks to get them down he has such a fun time building with them.

The snow continues to fall in Glenwood. Each day we look out snowflakes are falling-- today was so windy and cold!!! I can't wait for spring and some warm sun!

Josie likes to stand on this pile of snow and look out at the neighborhood.

Brock's cousin Eli played some tic-tac-toe with Brock at districts. We always come packed with a bag of things to help pass the time for Brock. He does a good job cheering the Rams on, but also enjoys his notebook, "homework" workbook, Nintendo DS, or his hotwheels cars.

Glenwood has no school tomorrow, but I will be working. Matt leaves on Wednesday for the state tournament in Des Moines. I am so excited to have Friday off and go up to Des Moines on Friday with Brock. We are looking forward to seeing some friends, swimming at the hotel, and seeing the Dyer family at finals on Saturday night!
