Snow, Snow, and More Snow seems to be the thing here. Everyday this is a constant site to see snowflakes out our window! Russel cat enjoys watching the birds on the front porch and across the street.
I don't know if we will see green again!
There are three cardnials in this tree- I have counted up to seven at one time eating from our feeders.
The back yard... I have distant memories of the kids running up the hill and playing in the green grass!

Tuesday night Brock and I headed to watch the Rams in Atlantic. They beat TJ but unfortunately did not win against Atlantic. That was the final dual of the season. The team was off this weekend and is now preparing for districts on Saturday to see who will qualify for state.
Matt will leave on Wed. the 17th for Des Moines and Brock and I will go up Friday morning the 19th. We are looking forward to the hotel, pool, shopping, friends, and family while in Des Moines.

Wednesday we had dinner for Grandma Susan's 30+30 birthday. The local Mexican place is always busy and has good food. They even serenaded her with a song, ice cream, and hat! Luckily, grandma had someone with her to share the fried ice cream!

We had a quiet weekend... We had dinner in town and then got a few movies for home. We watched a movie with Brock and then Matt and I cozied up for a movie together. Friday night Brock woke up with a bad ear ache and I took him in on Saturday morning to the doctor. He had a severe ear infection and we came home with a prescription for an antibiotic. Matt had practice in Atlantic and then came home to hang out for the rest of the day with us. We cozied up again after putting Brock to bed for a second night of movie watching- it was awesome to have two nights of chilling out at home. Sunday we went to our neighbors for some foodball & food for a while before coming home and getting ready to start the new week.

Lots of celebrations going on in GWood. Hope Matt's wrestlers do well at State in a few weeks. Sorry we'll miss you that weekend.
