Week in Review January 25-31

I'm behind on posting our week in review due to some problems with uploading pictures to Blogger. I don't know what is causing it, but it is loading slow or not loading some at all.

Anywho... The last week of January was a busy week.

Tuesday I hosted MOPS book club at our house. We had read Icy Sparks by Gwen Hyman Rubio.

Brock took some daycare friends (Pierce & Josh) to the last home dual. We were also joined by Grandma Susan, Aunt Lisa, Granny, KK, Mindy, Jason, Emma, Carter, Nikki, Emerson, Pat, Sam, Mike, Brendan, Casey, and Kacie Jane & the bales cousins. There was a lot of kids in our section!

It was such a close dual, we lost by 1 to Harlan.

Brock's favorite thing to do when we are at Glenwood is to help roll up the mats after each dual. He was down on the side with two friends as soon as it was over waiting for the big guys to get started.

The big kids are great at letting him help out.

Saturday we were in Shen. all day for the Conference Tournament. Glenwood placed 2nd as a team and 13 placed as individuals. They looked great!

Brock spent some time with his great-grandpa Rollin who we see at most Glenwood wrestling events.

He also got to see Grandpa Bob for a bit and teach him how to play Mario Kart.

Sunday Matt had a meeting in Atlantic so Brock and I headed to the train show at the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs. We have attended this show for 4 years now and Brock absolutly loves it! We were there for two hours! I love being able to let him take his time and enjoy looking where ever he wants two or three times. He could stand and watch the trains go around for hours I think!

His favorite part is probably watching them come over bridges or go through tunnels.

Birthday Wishes go out to Papa and Susan this week. Papa's birthday was Friday and Susan's was Saturday!

We celebrated Papa's the week before with dinner at Grams for January birthdays. We celebrated Susan's this past week so pictures will be up in the next week in review.
