This past week I "graduated" from my MOPS group. MOPS is Mothers of Preschoolers and I have been a member for the past 5 years. I have made so many great friends and had so much fun with this group. I was the creative activities leader one year, a co-coordinator two years, and the publicity leader this past year. Life will sure seem different to not be a MOPS mom anymore! Once your youngest is through Kindergarten, you have to "graduate".
Matt's Grandpa Rollin passed away last week. He was such a special man and we spent a short time in Indianola this past week for the funeral services.
Brock enjoyed his time at Grandpa Bob's house.
One of his favorite things was the bow and arrow. Grandpa let him bring a set of them home as well.
On Saturday we stopped at the Omaha Farmer's Market in the Old Market. The sights and sounds were great. Brock really enjoyed this band playing in the street and purchased a copy of their cd.
Dogs were all over and the dog sign needed a picture!
Matt got a "fancy cup" of home made root beer. You can bring it back all summer for a discounted refill.
The police on segway's heading through the FM...maybe Matt should switch to Omaha police and sign up for this duty!
Dogs were everywhere!
I grabbed a few zucchini for the garden
We headed over to Zio's Pizza for some lunch. The waitress brought Brock out a ball of pizza dough to play with while we waited!
Great update!!!! Now with school being out, I need to get motivated to blog again.
