Review Time--May 2011

I thought with Matt being gone that I would get lots of stuff done in the evenings, get to bed early, and have time for dinner with friends once a week that we have been saying we would do forever with the kids!  I am getting none of that done!  I don't think life will ever settle down!  

Each night before bed, Matt calls us on Skype (Video calling) and 
we get to spend some time talking with him. It is really nice for Brock to be able to talk to daddy and tell him about what is going on and helps Matt not feel so homesick.

On Mother's Day we headed to Grandma Susan's for lunch.  Brock got to drive the gator by himself (with an adult riding with him) for the first time.  I can't believe he is big enough for this!

 Later that day we met at Gram's house with my side of the family.  Noa brought her boyfriend over.....awwwwsweeeettt.

During the week I had a phone call from my good friend Amy who moved away to WI.  Amy and Ben are who we got Josie dog and Russel cat from.  We miss their little family and wish we had more time together.  Amy was in town for just a few hours and drove to Glenwood to have a quick lunch before heading back to the airport.  It was so FUN to see her again!  We are planning a weekend trip to WI sometime soon!
