Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday were all snow days due to ice, snow, and crazy cold temps. We enjoyed the time at home and I got a few things done around the house I haven't been able to do since doing the long term sub assignment.
Brock enjoyed some hot chocolate with 29 marshmellows and we played a few rounds of Star Wars Trouble.
Thursday night we headed to gram's house for the December & January (just a little late) birthday dinner. Kenzie and Daniel are also moving to Indianola so it was a party with them as well. I didn't take my camera that night :(
Friday we went to TJ Highschool in Council Bluffs for a wrestling dual that had been cancled on Tuesday night. Glenwood won 60-22. They were off this Saturday so no traveling for us!
In kindergarten, they have two reading challenges each month. The Book It! Challenge is to read 20 books to earn rewards (read to a friend, eat with the teacher, and a free Pizza Hut pizza). The school library is working on a challenge with the Omaha zoo for the school to earn a free day to visit. That is 30 books a month. Brock told us that if they bring their sheet back for the library, they get a free slap braclet. So....today he sat down to read 30 books to fill up his list. He ended up with 31 on his list so hopefully he earns that bracelet tomorrow!
