A Week in Review January 10-16

The snow started coming in on Sunday night. Monday was Brock's first snow day. We tried to teach him how to watch the news and hope that you see your school listed. We told him that he had to start cheering if we found out it was a snow day and told him of all the fun things that were in store for snow days.

We did a little sledding in our front yard and played with the neighbor kids for a while. One of Brock's favorite parts was that he got to wear his pajamas all day!

Tuesday and Wednesday were both 2 hour late starts due to the cold temperatures. That really made for a short week!

Wednesday Amber went to her MOPS group meeting. This is my last year in MOPS and I am going to miss it! It is so fun to get together with the friends I have made through the past 5 years.

Thursday night was senior night at the last home dual of the season. Unfortunately, Glenwood lost to LC and Underwood that evening.

Friday morning I took a half of a day off from substituting and we headed to KS to watch a 2 day tournament. We had one of the wrestling moms and her 1st grade son ride and stay with us so the trip was lots of fun! Brock loves having someone to play with! Glenwood placed 8th out of 32 teams. Glenwood also had the 2nd highest # of falls in the tournament! Go Rams! Check out Glenwood Sports for more wrestling photos and info.

One of the best parts of going to stay in the hotel was swimming in the pool!
