Week in Review March 8- 14

I guess to make up for a pretty calm week last week we had things going several nights this week.
Tuesday night Matt had his End-of-Year wrestling banquet.

The seniors
Wednesday night I had MOPS. I have been on the steering team for 3 years and this will be my last on steering. Next year is my final year in MOPS so I am just going to enjoy being a member. I have loved my 4 years in MOPS but it has been a lot of work as well! My first year I was a regular member, second year I was the Creative Activities Leader, and the past two I have been co-coordinator with Monica Mayberry. Matt had wrestling so Brock attended the kids part of MOPS with me. They have such a good children's program and he has lots of fun there.
On Thursday I thought Brock's eye looked a little pink. I kept him home from school ( in which he cried and was so upset he didn't get to go) thinking he had pink eye. By Friday he had in in both eyes and started on drops. Thursday night a couple of MOPS girls and I went to see the movie "Dear John" after reading the book. Brock and Matt "hung out" at home together.... Brock loves to "just hang out" with his dad or with dad and his friends.
Saturday night we all attended the finals of D2 Nationals at UNO. Matt had been up Friday night and all day Saturday to watch as well. One of Matt's former wrestlers, Ty Copsey, was in the finals and placed 2nd. It was a good time.

Sunday Matt did his 6 mile run in the late morning (he is planning on running the Dam to Dam this summer in Des Moines).
I met up with some old friends in the afternoon. Hollie was back in town for spring break so Wendeline, Cathy, and I all met at La Mesa in Council Bluffs. All of us taught in Malvern together and as usual we had plenty to talk about!
