Santa Claus Came To Town

Santa came to visit at our house on Sat. the 20th. We were in the middle of a potluck dinner with the daycare families when Brock looked out the window and saw Santa walking up to the house! Santa came last year too so the kids were very excited to see him back again.

All of the regular daycare families were able to make it minus one dad. We also invited 2 families that have come here for some drop in days this past year. We all had a great time.

When the kids first arrived, we did a little Christmas Tree ornament craft that I had ready for them. The idea came from the Make and Takes blog. Stacey had the idea of the potluck and I was game for that! It was a nice time for the parents to get to chat and the kids to run around together and play (since they never get to do that!)

Santa had a gift for all of the kiddos and most of them were very excited to see him. Josh, Carson, and Pierce were not to sure however. Brock got another train for his GeoTrax set. Loved it of course!

Does anyone realize how hard it is to get this many kids to sit down and look at the camera at the same time? Impossible.
